Taming Of The Hugh('s Hair)

Another sign that my little dude is getting older (not unlike his aging father) happened the other day when he went for a trim. It seems that now Sam can do the solo haircut with just the assistance of the "big boy" chair. This is a vast improvement from the traditional (to this point anyway) method that used revolving parents to hold the little dude in place until the hair stylist was done. Here we have Sam all ready to get started as he says hello to Angie. Notice she has given him a sucker to help provide an pleasant distraction. So far so good. He is digging the haircut to this point without any major problems. Notice that a second sucker has been added!

Of course the addition of another sucker did lead to the proverbial quandry...right sucker or left sucker?!?But at the end of the visit, it was all good. Here we have Sir Hugh checking out the style and considering whether or not the top should be just a bit shorter? Maybe?

So here it is, my almost-two-year-old is getting solo haircuts. It's amazing how time flies by. But don't think it won't happen. It is just like the barber says,

"You're NEXT!"
